October 9th:

"It was too deliciously spicy to resist.
Bonus points if your post does not involve food! :3"

Alex and his partner Scott were sitting at the beach enjoying the day.

"Man, there haven't been any attractive guys out there today," complained Alex.

"Hey, you've got the best right here," Scott retorted.

"I know. I know." Alex leaned over and gave Scott a quick peck. When they parted, the most gorgeous man walked past them with a surfboard in hand.  The mysterious surfer gave both guys the once over and continued on his way.

"I think we spoke too soon," muttered Scott.

"Oh yeah. I wonder if he'd be up for a little fun?"

"He's definitely deliciously spicy."

"Yes, he is. It's hard to resist too. I mean look at those muscles," Alex mumbled.

"Honey, your mumbling again. And staring too."  Scott laughed at the sight his partner was making. At least not that many people were noticing.

"Can I go talk to him?"

"If that means a chance of a threesome with that man, uhhh, what are you waiting for?"

This little prompt might be something I can turn into a story. I definitely want to continue this one somehow. Maybe after NaNoWriMo, I'll come back to this.

Writing Prompt- October 8th

October 8th
"The air was crisp"
When Sadie woke up the next morning, she noticed that the air was crisp and cool, and fall has arrived. She went over to window, and opened it to breathe in the fresh air. She walked around her bedroom wanting more, more do with the day than she had planned.
Sadie got ready for the day, and went out side to rake some leaves.

Try 2:
After keeping the window open overnight, Sadie woke up to feel that the air was crisp outside.  Autumn, was starting, she thought.  She snuggled down in her covers just a bit longer to keep the warmth in.
After about 20 extra minutes, she sighed heavily, knowing that she had to get up and spend a day completeing her chores.
She pulled the covers off and gave a stretch, and when she stood she stretched again, making sure all the kinks were out of her body.
Sadie walked over to her window and closed it.

Writing Prompt- October 7th

October 7th:
"I want to go home."
As the young boy was waiting for the school bus,  he said to the teacher, "I'm not sure I like school. I want to go home."
"Why is that?"
"It's just too hard. I'm not good enough."
"Don't ever say that. You come to school to learn. Over the years, you build up on information that you learn now.  It's a way to learn and grow and understand what goes on in the world."
"Years??" The boy asked in shock with wide eyes.
The teacher chuckled lightly, and said "yes, child, once you start school you are in school for the next 12 or so years."
"Mommy!" The boy yelled wanting to get away from there. He didn't want to learn for all that time.

NaNoWriMo Writing Prompts

On the NaNoWriMo forums, there is a sub-forum of Word Wars, Prompts, and Sprints. The point of these prompts are to get you in a writing mode, basically by choosing a set time and writing what you can about that prompt.

I usually choose between 5 and 10 minutes, just as something small, because I'm finding, if I don't have an idea or a spark of what to write I will spend those 10 minutes just going, WTF will I write.

So I'll be posting them in their own entries as I write them, they will have the date that the prompt was given on the NaNo forum.

October 5th
"Let's play a little game."
The little 5 year old boy was jumping up and down, saying let's play a little game, to his classmates at recess.
Other boys in the group agreed, but the little girls made a face and said "ewww" a game and ran off.
The first boy yelled "Well you have cooties, anyway." The rest of the boys chuckled.
"Cooties, are yucky!"
"Who needs girls!"
"Bad girls!"
Those were some of the taunts by the other boys. Max the 5 year old who was so excited to just play a game, saw his excitement dissapate as the rest of the boys started to make fun of the girls. All he wanted was for everyone to play together.
